Lately I’ve had several requests for a list of my favorite books, blogs, recipe sites and other references for those interested in a paleo-type diet and lifestyle. I finally put that together in the form of a new Resources page, now accessible in the navigation menu at the top of the site.
I’m always looking for new recipe sites, in particular, so let me know if I left anything out. Enjoy!

Thank you for this! It’s the best thing to come through my feed reader all week – you’ve put together the list I’ve wanted to but never got around to.
Thank you for sharing the resources with us. I’ve already started checking of them out.
Hi, there! Thanks, number one, for your blog. It’s a must-read for keeping one’s head on straight and since I had my thyroid removed two years ago, all of your info on thyroid function has been incredibly helpful… and number two, for that kickass resource list. I’m pretty sure I read that thyroid book based on a previous
I wanted to let you know about the recipes I publish in my blog. They’re all paleo/primal/real food/whatever you want to call it… and I test every one before sharing. You can find them all here: http://theclothesmakethegirl.blogspot.com/2010/02/dino-chowpaleo-recipes.html
Thanks, again!
Melissa
Excellent list. Thanks for sharing these resources.
Thanks, Melissa. I added your recipe collection to the list.
You left out “The Wolf” – Robb Wolf…
thenourishinggourmet.com has amazing recipes, all traditional foods style.
Thanks for the list!
You may find Kaisu Viikari’s work on myopia and other conditions also interesting. According to her myopia isn’t caused by genetic/nutrition factors only but spasm in ciliary muscle cause by reading all the time with no plus glasses (which “simulate” watching far away) can cause it too. And with sufficient plus lenses it could be even slowly reversed.
Her books are free to download. Two of them are written in English.

Great list. I also like kitchenstewardship blog and foodrenegade blog. Both are very WAP/paleo-ish in nature.
Hi Chris! I’m a big fan of your blog and Twitter feed! I’m a busy working mom (night shift!) who has a Paleo/Primal food blog called Nom Nom Paleo (http://nomnompaleo.com/). My blog emphasizes getting good healthy grub on the table with as little work as possible — I utilize my SousVide Supreme and slow cooker A LOT. Check it out and let me know what you think!
